4. CHAIRMANS REPORT

The Chairman commenced his report by thanking everyone for attending the meeting. He went on to thank the various members of the committee and club who have helped him during his first year as Chairman. Jack Murphy for his services as Club Secretary and in particular his fundraising efforts throughout the year. Matt Corby for his continued work as Treasurer and for stepping in as Fixture Secretary. Tom Cox for his commitment as Captain and for all his efforts off the field as well as on it. Matt Pratt for his continued service as 2nd XI Captain, the hardest job in the club. Mark Ireland and Nick Hibberd for their work with the junior section. Not an easy job and the boys looked to be enjoying their games whenever Gary made it down the club to watch. Marcus Ireland for his work on raising money through the club ties. He went on to thank John Bradley for his services as Umpire and President, Rob Bradley for scoring, Emma for teas and Micky for all his help during the week and on match days. Finally he thanked all for supporting club events and despite difficulties with getting sides together it was great to see that the team morale remained high.

5. TREASURERS REPORT

Matt started by thanking Gary for taking on the role as Chairman and congratulated him on a very successful first year in the role.

The accounts total £11,260.00 with £1,200.00 to come out for the end of season work costs. This will lead to a final balance of £10,000.00. Subscriptions are down on last year mainly due to the lack of Sunday fixtures. Fundraising efforts have maintained the accounts at the same level as this time last year, which is a great achievement. Matt asked for questions from the floor but there were none. He finished by thanking Pippa Corby for her help during the year.
