Why not consider playing for one of the South West’s most successful and progressive rugby clubs. Brixham 1st XV play in the South West Premier League, and finished last season in 5th position. We have recently been awarded RFU Team of the month for February 2020 having won 5 games and extending a stretch of 6 games undefeated.
Situated on Devon’s South Coast, Brixham RFC has some of the best facilities in the region. The club has recently been refurbished and offers quality training and playing facilities, superb changing and treatment rooms plus offers a great social life.
Overseeing playing is Director of Rugby John Lovell who has put together an experienced team of coaches and backroom staff. Club stalwart and legend Adam Thomas moves up to Head Coach, and will assisted by Lewis Patterson. Jon Ellery makes a welcome return with a remit for conditioning and culture, with Joe Lovell delivering video analysis.
The key back room team of Barry Thomas , Pete Boyce and Poppy Campbell remain in place.
The playing squad remains largely intact and will grow as we welcome players coming back, youngsters through the ranks, and brand new faces
Training takes place at Astley Park, home of Brixham Rugby, on Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm sharp.
Brixham is an amateur club with professional values. Why not come and join a winning team. For further information contact John Lovell.
