The Surrey Academy forms an integral part of Surrey's elite player development programme. It will endeavour to produce the nucleus of Surrey's future professional squad and players good enough for the international stage.

The Academy programme delivers a holistic cricket development programme, which provides talented young cricketers with the opportunity to fulfil their potential via comprehensive, individually focused support.

The Academy Director will consult with Surrey CCC's professional coaching staff, CAG Managers and Coaches throughout the summer fixture programme regarding players to be considered for inclusion into the Academy.

The Academy Programme follows an integrated approach to training across all areas including Technical, Tactical, Physical, Mental and Lifestyle. The Academy squad will also play a number of fixtures throughout the summer.
