Newcastle continued their unbeaten start in the League

Newcastle continued their unbeaten start in the league with an emphatic 6-1 victory over visitors Carlton Town.

Castle took the lead after 12 minutes when Joe Berks fired home from a penalty but Carlton we're level 3 minutes later when a Daryll Thomas looping header found the corner. Town had a chance to retake the lead but this time Jack Steggles saved Berks penalty. From the resulting corner, Castle we're awarded a third penalty and Ryan McLean fired home.
The second half was one-way traffic with Castle making it 3 when Harvey Howell sent in Joe Berks who slotted home. McLean beat two players and set up Maxwell Chimenes who slotted home for Castles 4th goal.

Nathan Morley cut in from the right-hand side and fired into the far corner past the despairing Steggles for the 5th and then Castle put the icing on the cake when Carlton only half-cleared the ball and Ethan Vale fired home from 25 yards to make it 6-1 and five games unbeaten in the League.
