Disabled Supporters

National Disability Project

In 2019, the football club signed up to a new initiative run by the National Supporters Association & Level Playing Field to make clubs more diverse and inclusive to all members of the community. In order to be accepted onto the scheme, the clubs Board of Directors had to sign up to a Disability Charter, which they willingly did so.

Following on from this agreement, the club is now a member of the Level Playing Field Association.

Inclusion Officer

As part of the clubs desire to become more inclusive, in 2019 we appointed Julia Bossons as our first-ever Inclusion Officer. The Inclusion Officer is responsible for all things relating to disability and inclusion within the football club. For more information please contact Julia on her email juliab@RegentCollege.org.uk

Wheelchair Users

8 spaces for Home/Away supporters in the main stand with cover.

16 spaces for supporters at pitch level, with carer/helpers standing.

Autism Friendly

The Red Industries Stadium is autism-friendly. In 2020, four of our club members, including our Gateman and Inclusion Officer attended Autism awareness training and the club has recently created an autism quiet area that is in the away end, but if any travelling supporters feel they would benefit from sitting there with their families then get in touch!

Facilities

The club currently has one Disabled toilet at The Red Industries Stadium, located next to the main homestand.

A refreshment counter is available, with low-level access for users in wheelchairs.

Bad Weather

The club has blankets for supporters in the event of cold weather. Please ask at the turnstile, a member of staff or steward.
