I hope that by now most of you will be aware of the Netbusters scheme we have been running for the last few years to help the club. Last year we raised £1,000, the season before saw the highest ever amount raised which was in the region of £1,300. The money we raise is all given directly to the club, and has been used primarily towards the cost of the first team kit, as well as purchasing equipment used by the ground staff for the maintenance of and improvements to the ground.

As with everything in this world, the costs of running our football club are steadily increasing. To help combat this and help move our club forward we are in need of more contributors to help raise more money.
If any of you are unaware of how this works, the basic premise is that you make a “pledge” of a set amount of money for each time an event you nominate occurs, for example for each goal scored, for each clean sheet kept, or for each league point collected. There are no boundaries (except basic decency) to what events you could make pledges on.

If you look at the Netbusters page in the match day programme you will see what other people have chosen to make pledges on, and maybe get some ideas for your own pledges. Examples can also be seen on the Netbusters thread on the Dolly Blue Chat Room.
