2. Rules


£5 TO ENTER A TEAM £50 TO THE WINNER

RULES

1) You must pick a total of eleven players from the list provided
2) Your team must consist of 1 goalkeeper, 4 defenders, 3 midfielders & 3 strikers
3) Players will receive points as detailed below
4) The league will run from 1stSeptember 2014 to 30TH April 2015.
5) Players will score points in all competitive competitions between these dates.
6) The winner of the league will be the team with the most points come 1st May 2015.
7) In the event of a tie, the team that cost the least will be the winner. If scores are still tied then the money will be shared.
8) You have 25m to spend on your eleven players.
9) Players will remain under their positions for the Fantasy League regardless of where they are selected on match days. (i.e if Clifton Firth is selected as a striker for a game, he will still score points as a midfielder).
10) Penalties scored during a shootout competition will not count for any points.

POINTS ARE AWARDED AS FOLLOWS

1) If a player makes an appearance for the first team they will attain 2 points. If a player makes an appearance for the reserve team they will score 1 point. (Substitutes must be substituted into the game to gain these points).
2) If a goalkeeper keeps a clean sheet they will receive 10 points. They do not gain any points should they score.
3) Defenders will score 7 points for every goal they score and 5 points for a clean sheet.
4) Midfielders will receive 5 points for every goal they score.
5) Strikers will receive 3 points for every goal they score.
6) Points for clean sheets can only be attainted if a player has participated in at least 45 minutes of the game.
7) A hat-trick by a player will result in 20 bonus points.
8) The player who receives the man of the match will score an additional 10 points.
9) A player who is sent off during a game will deduct 30 points from your team.
10) A player who is cautioned in a game will deduct 10 points from your team.
11) A player who receives 2 yellow cards, attaining a red card will deduct 30 points as per no.9
12) Own goals do not count for any points.
13) The first team or reserve team manager on the day will decide on any dubious goals that are scored, they will also decide the man of the match, unless there is a players vote, which will take precedent.

TRANSFERRING PLAYERS AFTER THE COMPETITION HAS STARTED

1) You may transfer up to 5 players throughout the competition
2) Each transfer will cost you £1.
3) Any transfers made cannot exceed the overall team value of 25m
4) When you change a player his points will be frozen from that date. Your newly selected player’s points start to contribute from the next match. Any points previously scored by your new player do not count to your overall score.

1) The players list is on the reverse of this sheet.
2) Your teamsheet is also on the reverse of this sheet.
3) Fill in your teamsheet and hand it back in.
4) Teamsheets should be handed back behind the bar or direct to Andy Barker.
5) You may enter as many teams you want.
6) Make a copy of your team so that you remember who is in your team!
