CAMBRIDGE CITY YOUTH F.C UNVEIL FOOTBALL FOUNDATION 2019.

FOLLOWING ON from our recruitment of the Eastern Junior Alliance squads for the 2019/20 season, we are now pleased to offer the opportunity for boys and girls to enter our Football Foundation that will begin in September 2019.

These coaching sessions will be available to pupils of Year 5 (Under 10),6 (Under 11) and 7 (Under 12) and will train on either a Monday and Friday evening during the winter training schedule.

We a discussing the initiative with companies that endorse our vision of developing talented footballers in the area by offering players the opportunity to be coached in an enjoyable, forward-thinking environment. This will allow us to offer this opportunity for £75.00 per player for the season.

Training Kit's will be available but will need to be purchased separately in a variety of packs directly from ProKit UK.

Further discussions are to enter an Under 12 squad into the Cambridgeshire District Colts league for 2019/20 and play regular invitational fixtures in all the age groups of the Football Foundation.

Our ultimate goal is to then give boys and girls the opportunity to be part of Cambridge City Football Club whilst receiving the coaching and support that will separate the City Youth Football Foundation to all the rest.

We will begin our recruitment on Sunday 21 July 2019 with a 2hr Open Session for just £1 per session. Sessions will be run over a 6 week period, starting at 10:30 am.

Our coaching team have extensive knowledge of Youth Development Programmes in the area having been part of the Cambridge United FC Shadow Squad Centre and Cambridgeshire Norwich PDC and Elite PDC coaching teams in previous years. Also, currently holding the Level 3 Coaching award (UEFA B).
