Jack Doyle is a left handed attacking batsman who is also a useful right arm trundler.

He gained a reputation when breaking into the senior outfit for collecting ducks in the scorebook but has improved this record in recent years to occasionally reach double figures.

Over the last two seasons, Doyle's contribution to Rufforth has become invaluable. Not only a talented batsman, but he's a leader on and off the field.

A natural sportsman, Doyle - of Irish origin - can often be seen tearing up the football fields of York in a Tockwith shirt.

As well as first team skipper Doyle currently holds the position of club secretary.
