Aire/Wharfe Cup 2018 1st Round Draw and Regulations

The 1st Round Draw was made at a meeting held at Yarnbury RFC on 3/3/18

All fixtures to be completed by 13/04/18
1. Wharfedale 3 v Keighley 2
2. Skipton 1 v Ilkley 2
3. Bradford & Bingley 2 v Bradford Salem 2
4. Baildon 1 v Bye
5. Roundhegians 2 v Yarnbury 2
6. Aireborough 1 v Bramley 1
7. West Park Leeds 2 v Otliensians 1
8. West Leeds 2 v Otley 2

All fixtures must be played midweek with a recommended kick off time of 6.15pm unless
agreement to play under floodlights is made.

Once fixtures have been arranged please inform both myself and the relevant Referees Midweek Appointment Secretarys of the dates and kick off times.

Playing Restrictions.(Agreed at the meeting)
Maximum team numbers of 20 Players of which 5 must be capable of playing in the front row.
Interchanges limited to 10 maximum.

Players must be bona-fide members of the club.

Baildon, Aireborough, Bramley, Skipton and Otliensians no restrictions.

Wharfedale and Otley no player who has started more than five times in their 1st teams league fixtures at the time of the relevant Cup Round .

Wharefedale,no player who has started more than half of their 2nd teams league fixtures at the time of the relevant Cup Round.

West Park Leeds, West Leeds, Ilkley, Roundhegians, Yarnbury, Keighley, Bradford & Bingley and Bradford Salem, no player who has started more than half of their 1st teams league fixtures at the time of the relevant Cup Round.

Awareness
It was agreed by the clubs represented at the meeting (7) that Clubs who play in the National Leagues should be aware of Safety when playing sides from the lower league echelons and show restraint in their team selection.

Game Time
All matches to be 40 minutes each way .
If the number of points scored by each side is level at full time 10 minutes each way sudden death to be played.
If scores are still level the deciding factor will be scores in the following order:

1.The side who scores the most tries.
2.The side who scores the most converted tries .
3.The side who scores the most drop goals.

If scores are still level the away side will progress to the next round.
