Sep 17 - A good day at the YM home grounds in Wesley College yesterday with our M1s earning a solid point in the EYHL after a thrilling four all draw with Banbridge HC, which included two goals for YM debutant Tevin Kok.
The L1s had a 5 – 2 win over Athlone HC in a preseason friendly, and the M2s shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw with Bray HC, also in pre-season game.

Following the M1s game the Stuart Walker Memorial Trophy was awarded for the first time.
The trophy has been generously donated by the Walker family in memory of long-time member Stuart Walker. The trophy is awarded to the Men’s First Team Squad Player of the Year as voted by his peers and Stuart’s wife Penny was on hand to present it to its first recipient, Matthew Walker.
