Wythenshawe Community Rugby Club – Our Vision & Mission Statement For 2023/2024 Season
Our Vision;
To be an excellent, sustainable community focused amateur Rugby Club and a leading provider of rugby in the Wythenshawe area, and to be recognised as a valued contributor to the local community.
We aim to deliver both codes of rugby, all year round to an area where this sport and the recognised benefits from being involved with it have not been readily available in the past.
Mission Statement;
To be a highly respected, well run, inclusive community rugby club, offering opportunities for all ages, genders and levels of ability.
Embracing the RFU and RFL core values by creating an environment and culture that promotes teamwork, discipline, respect and enjoyment, whilst maintaining respect for the club’s brief history and ensuring a secure future by incorporating changes in society, new ideas and new technologies to improve our delivery.
The club also follows the RFU and RFL codes of rugby:
“Everyone involved in rugby in England, whether as a player, coach, referee, administrator, parent or spectator is expected to uphold the core values of our sport.”
