GEORGE SNAPE R.I.P.

Woolston Rovers were saddened to learn about the passing of former player, coach and Hall of Fame member George Snape earlier this week.

George was a great asset to the club, both before and after his professional career, and will be missed by many who had the good fortune to know him.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to George’s family at this sad time.

George’s funeral will take place on Thursday 4th January at 2.30pm at Warrington Crematorium, Walton Lea and following this the wake will take place at Warrington Conservative Club, Dial Street where you are all very welcome to come and raise a glass in George's memory.
