1. Coaching

In many ways, our colts section is the lifeblood of our club - it is why we spend a great deal of time and effort coaching young players of all standards. It's great fun and it is rewarding for all. Indeed, several of today’s senior players picked up their first bat playing Kwik cricket on a summer’s evening down at The Hoe.

Here's a brief introduction to the cricket coaching we offer young children and teenagers.

Our colts set up provides coaching for those aged between six and 14 and the opportunity to play in the North East Essex Junior Cricket League. All coaching is provided by qualified coaches and young leaders, who are trained and have been screened for their suitability for working with young people. We are also England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Clubmark accredited.
