Matchday Information For Fans

LOCATION OF THE INGS.

The Ings is located on the banks of the River Wharfe just off Boston Road. Coming through the Town of Wetherby from Harrogate, you will come to a roundabout with the ground signposted, turn right and cross the bridge and the Ings is your first turning off to the right.

Driving through Wetherby from Knaresborough or the A1 coming South, you will arrive at the roundabout just before the stone bridge, this time go straight on and turn right into the Ings just after the bridge.

If you are coming off the A1 motorway (going North), follow the signs marked Wetherby until you come to a big roundabout (with a wonderful stone carved horse on it), go straight on and down a little hill, the turn off for the Ings is on your left hand side, just before the bridge.

The ground is a 10 minute walk from the bus station and the directions are the same as if driving through the Town from Harrogate.

Some matches are played over on the South Bank (called Scaur Bank). This is accessed by walking alongside the main pitch and going to the bottom of the playing fields where you will see and cross an iron bridge onto the South Bank.

PARKING AT THE GROUND.

There is quite a lot of parking spaces at The Ings, including disabled ones as well. We do share the parking with the Social Club and Sports Centre but we can make extra spaces available if needed.

ADMISSION.

All games involving Wetherby Athletic and it's many teams are free to watch. The main pitch is fenced off but is easily accessible with just a short walk from the car parks.

REFRESHMENTS

Drinks and snacks can be purchased in the Wetherby Sports Bar which is located at the top of the second car park.

TOILETS

Gents and ladies toilets are located in the Sports Bar at the top of the second car park.

SEATING

Unfortunately there is no seating facilities at the Ings.

SEGREGATION

As the pitch is an open plan ground, there is no segregation at the Ings, Wetherby Athletic FC therefore ask that spectators are civil to one another when moving around the pitch.
