Johnny White sees the Threes home.

The First team went to Old Finchleians without the injured Connor Byrne and his soon to be available centre back partner Ben Linter. Sam Murray is back in the saddle but leading League goal scorer Charlie Kallas was confined to the bench with a serious back strain from recent artificial surface games. Tom Kilcoyne is in the same boat as CK and wasn’t even considered by Manager Andy Foster. George Maw continued his comeback in the Reserves so the squad should be quite near to full strength for the vital games over the next few weeks..

Both Linter and Maw came through uninjured in the Reserves 2 – 0 win over a competitive Old Parmiterians First team. Charlie Smyth scored both of our goals and the win keeps Joe Ivory’s squad in the first place in Senior Division Three.

The Ones had a topsy turvy game on a difficult surface – the result of the almost incessant rain over recent months. Finchleians is not an easy place to get three points at but eventually we ran out 5 – 3 winners after trailing 2 – 1 and 3 -2.

Sam Murray is back with a bang scoring two sensational goals and Josh Tutt added another with an excellent finish. The other goals came from a Charlie Hackshall free kick and a long range effort from Jack Doyle. Unfortunately, the same as last season, the home side finished with ten men when one of their boys was awarded an early shower for upsetting Jackdaw.

The score was already 5 – 3 so it had no bearing on the game but it was a hard fought 90 minutes as we all expected and the three points takes us nearer to another title. Nobody is counting any chickens but the strikers are" breaking eggs with big sticks" notching 20 goals in the last 4 league games.

“ Muzza” is back with a bang but MOM went to Josh Tutt for another fine all round performance and we should be well positioned for next week’s home game against Nottsborough.

Probably the result of the day was the Threes going to Nottsborough and winning 3 - 1 with two goals from Johnny White and the other from Brian Harvey. No mean feat for Johnny Clapshoe's squad.

The Sixes went down 3 - 0 to Old Blues Reserves.
