West Hull 14 V Siddal 14

West Hull played host to National cup champions @ U16's Siddal in a closely contested game at Walter Simpson park. The two sides have met on numerous occasions in the last 3 yrs with Siddal been the dominant side in most if not all their games.

This game though was not like the other games as West Hull had the lead most of the game and looked the more dominant side, some might say "what a load of tosh" "the referee was terrible" "Blah Blah Blah" but the DVD of this game and penalty count for the other side proves otherwise. The two side traded blow for blow throughout the entire game as its no secret the two clubs have serious rivalry and this showed in this match.

The game ended a 14 - 14 draw which is fair as Wests made some errors at the end of the game which saw the Siddal prop go in at the wing against much smaller opposition to level the score otherwise this would have been a good win for the West Hull side, But we will take the draw....

Well Done lads on a valiant and strong team performance against probably the best team in the country @ U16's
