WELCOME TO THE HOMEPAGE FOR WELWYN U13s

This team is appropriate for boys in year 8. We're a friendly, inclusive, mixed-ability team made up of new and experienced players, predominantly from the local area and attending local schools (but all are welcome, of course!). Our focus is on fitness and healthy lifestyles, having fun, and teaching core skills and values essential to rugby: enjoyment, teamwork, respect, discipline and sportsmanship. We believe that everyone should get time on the pitch to learn, compete and develop.

The boys play fixtures most Sundays, with mid-week training on Wednesday evenings (6:00pm to 7:30pm for the 21/22 season).

We are actively recruiting new and experienced players and we'd love to hear from you. Please do come and give training a try with no obligations or pressure. Previous experience playing rugby is absolutely not necessary - we're here to help you learn this exciting and dynamic game.
