Watton welcomed Holt thirds to Pages Lane and for half and hour played some great rugby, with direct running and great support providing six unanswered tries and a 36-0 game winning score line.

Early tries from Eales and Da Cruz, were added to a brace from Stickland, with Eagle and Bell contributing the fifth and sixth.

Holt scored either side of the break and the rest of the game, whilst scrappy was an evenly contested end to end affair.

Beckwith showed his pace and power to score twice, Stickland completed his hat-trick and Da Cruz capped a man of the match performance with his second before Holt added the final score.

Watton will feel they could have done better but it would be churlish to criticise a 60 point victory and great credit to Holt who stayed in the contest throughout.

The press for promotion continues and the Red and Black take on the improving Lakenham Union seconds next weekend.
