Waid continued their good start to this season's leagues with another win, this time at Perthshire.

Waid started the game well with winger Robbie Allen scoring a try after strong driving and running by the team allowing him the space necessary to get past his opponent.

Perthshire replied by running in a try from a wayward kick ahead that Perthshire collected and then kicked back, but the ball was dropped in defence and the chasing Perthshire backs secured the loose ball and scored to equalise the game. They then kicked a penalty to take the lead.

In a game strewn with errors and penalties, Waid took their chance from a quickly taken penalty and good hands through the backs for Gary Anderson to touch down and recover the lead.

Waid then held the initiative in the match but despite possession and pressure, a pass was intercepted for Perthshire who ran up the pitch to take back the lead. Although they missed the converdiin kick, they opted to kick a penalty shortly after that but again missed. As the match drew to a close, Waid took their chance and after a good passage of play by their dominant forwards, flanker Adam Shaw ran through the Perthshire defence to score the winning try, converted by Dylan Muir.

Waid now 6 from 6 and next weekend's top of the table clash at home against the undefeated Dundee Medics will see if they can continue their run.
