This weekend saw UBHRFC make their debut in the annual Freshers Tournament. Coombe Dingle welcomed teams from across the region to play in a round robin style format, allowing clubs to try out their newly recruited talents and make the senior boys cry about the rain and cold (GP).

In treacherous conditions, both UBH teams made the club proud with some solid defence, attacking flare and ultimately good results, as follows:

UBHRFC 1st 20+1 - 0 UWE A
UBHRFC 1st 7 - 0 Reading
UBHRFC 1st 32 - 7 Gloucester A

UBHRFC 2nd 0 - 7 Exeter
UBHRFC 2nd 12 - 0 Gloucester B

Over 40 boys took part in the days proceedings and this is testament to current aspirations of the club. We look forward to all you new boys running out for us again. Some really good results there, let's keep them coming!
