Biography
Nickname:- SubbySubhaan has risen through the ranks at TPE in a pretty short period of time. Starting with the under 15s and playing in the 3rd XI, Subhaan had a full season in 2nd XI cricket in 2016 before playing his 1st game for our 1st XI against Thackley in 2017. He duly scored a half century and kept his place in the side for the remainder of the season.
A talented batsman with a majestic cover drive, Subby like to find the fence but has a good defensive technique and is very capable of batting long periods of time. As his batting develops he should pick up more 1s and 2s to rotate the strike whilst waiting for the boundary ball.
A very handy leg-spin bowler when it his day and he lands it right, although his bowling is yet to feature in the 1st team.
Still got work to do on his fielding but has a decent arm and picked up a few good catches last year.
Makes a very loud sniffing noise.
