Nickname: Saqi
The quiet man of the side, Saqi is happy to let his cricket do his talking for him. A fine all-round, adaptable cricketer, he is a stylish looking left-hand batsman. Not afraid to hit the ball in the air equally adept at getting us off to a good start in the top 3 or manipulating the bowling in the middle order.
Saqi also bowls some very handy seamers often at a difficult time of the innings, towards the end of the overs or when the runs are flowing. He did a good job opening the bowling last season with a lack of seamers at the club with decent pace at times. A good committed fielder often found in the covers or at midwicket, he is one of the more athletic fielders in the side. Silent but deadly.
