Following a review of the clubs plans, the club has decided to offer opportunities for boys to join the club as part of mixed teams’ format whilst maintaining the Girls only squads that the club has fostered.

We are delighted to announce that we will be launching teams that will represent Tameside United with a new crest and legacy of the past several years of Tameside United Girls FC.
The teams will be aged from under 6s -18s with several squads already recruited for the coming year that will represent Tameside United in the Junior Premier League at Under 18s level. With sessions delivered and overseen by UEFA A and B licence coaches, the club will provide opportunities for community players to work with full-time professional football coaches.

The already expansive Girls Squads will continue and be supported by the professional coaching setup to expand even further with plans to launch both a Men’s and Women’s first team in the future.

As part of this we are excited to confirm that this club will continue with our mantra of “Football for All”, we want to reach children in the borough who love the game but for whatever reasons have not been able to play or have been told they need to develop before playing the game. We believe passionately that all boys and girls within Greater Manchester should enjoy Football regardless of their ability.

The club is now looking to provide opportunities for boys and girls to join Tameside United FC as part of this expanding project, we will be holding two large open days on the 4th and 11th July for boys and girls from across Tameside to come in and work with our coaching staff for the day in a fun environment and see whether Tameside United is the environment for them.
