Continental Star blew Studley away in the first 45 minutes that left Lee Knight and Kev Barry puzzled. After a good solid start to the season, showing an excellent work ethos throughout, the management team didn't think that a first half performance that was produced by the lads was in the teams locker. However credit must also go to Continental as they were lively, quick to the ball, full of energyand showed good quality on the ball.

Continental took the lead after 20 minutes after an error from Chewy in goal for the Bees. Continental scored soon after with an outstanding volley and were soon 3 up with an excellently worked team goal that was finished off with an stunning drive from the edge of the box. Lee Knight will feel that all goals could have been dealt with better but overall 3-0 to Continental was a fair result.

Second half saw Studley make 2 changes and set the team up in a different formation. Studley went close on a couple of occassions in the first 20 minutes but were unfortunate to conceed again from a free kick that came off the cross bar and was tapped in from close range. Studley continued to press and created a number of chances. with 20 minutes remaining Scott Turner pulled a goal back from a Daniel Rolfe cross and Studley felt a glimmer of hope. A couple of half chances followed but none were taken by the Bees.

Studley face their next test on Tues 21 Aug away at Stourport Swifts KO 7:45.
