Oliver "Hat Trick Hero" Cafaro

Today on a sunny late June afternoon, 13 year old Oliver Cafaro, playing in his second ever senior match took an unbelievable Hat trick at just 13 years old (all dismassals LBW).
He ended with superb figures of 3 overs, 2 maidens, 2 runs (1 of those a wide) and the 3 wickets.

He is one of the youngest players ever for Stokeinteignhead CC to achieve the feat. It was confirmed this evening that the current Youngest Player to take a Hat Trick for Stokeinteignhead is David Rew at 12 years old vs Erratics in 2011.

Stokeinteignhead won the match by 18 runs after amassing 145-9 off 30 overs. Namit Mathew and Jamie Clinkett both top scoring with 37.

Exwick managed 127 all out. Opener Attaulah Kharoti was the star of the Innings with 78 off just 44 balls, 70 of those runs in boundaries (10 4s 5 6s).

Three wickets for Jamie Clinkett, 2 wickets for Brendan Clarke and a wicket apiece for Roger Putman and Tim Treeby.

A memorable afternoon, not just the hat trick, the explosive Innings from Kharoti but also his wicket, the final one of the match, an unbelievable one handed catch on the boundary by Reejesh.
