LAST UPDATED 3/1/16...... DUE TO THE FIRE AT THE CHANGING ROOMS 26/12/14 WE ARE SORTING THROUGH ALL THE OLD CLUB PAPERWORK AND PHOTOGRAPHS.

We intend uploading, interesting, relevant or more importantly embarrassing photos or reports of former players. So if you have any get them to us.

We will use the title 'BLASTS FROM THE PAST' in the Albums section but will update this article to inform you of new posts.

One pic in the album shows a letter from the IFA fining us £10 for playing football on a Sunday. It was in 1990 and came about as our Second XI didn't get accepted into the Amateur League and so we entered a team in a local Sunday League.

Ironically we had been reported to the IFA by a team from the road, they objected to us using 'their' pitch in the Falls Park for our Sunday games.

The IFA had no choice but to fine us and the man who signed the letter actually became a huge supporter of the club, writing many letters of support that helped the club secure funding to build our own pitch.

Of course the club would later, along with Donegal Celtic, become the first to take part in a Sunday Steel & Sons Cup tie and now of course Northern Ireland are about to play the first Sunday game at Windsor Park under the IFA.....wonder could we ask for a refund?
