2 Big players in the rise of Scole, call it a day.

Scole look to have another strong squad this season as they mount an attack on the Anglian Combination premier division. Several new faces have been added with most of last seasons squad signed on as well.

However 2 players who have been huge in the rise of Scole FC wont be playing this season.

Dave "DC" Coleman has decided to take this season out but is not retiring. Dave on his day has been unplayable and has scored big goals in big games. A very tricky winger with a good shot, Dave bows out this season with a record at Scole of 71 games played and 19 goals scored.

Big Jim Edwards has decided to prematurely retire at the age of just 30. The big striker has plundered 76 goals (inc 4 penalties ) in 133 appearances and has often been the catalyst for big performances. With a promotion at work, and a child on the way, Edwards wont be lining up as the number 9 for the club this season.

Both are players in their prime, and both will be more than welcome to change their mind at any time and will be welcomed back with open arms at all times and neither have left to join other clubs.

Both have played big parts in the rise of the club in the past few season and deserve to go down as legends within our village club and as manager thank you both for all your hard work for me and your team mates.
