At Sandown & Shanklin RFC we aim to be a successful community club offering rugby, at all levels, for all.

We always welcome new players and members to join us with or without any experience in playing rugby, whatever your age, skill or fitness. We have excellent rugby facilities comprising two full size pitches including floodlit training areas, and a gym for players and members recovering from injuries. Our clubhouse and bar offers a vibrant social scene which members and players can enjoy.

Senior Rugby
We have 2 senior men’s teams 1st XV and 2nd XV, and support the Vectis youth sides from U15 up to Colts, as well as the Wight Wolves the islands Women's team.

Training sessions and home games are held at The Fairway for both Seniors teams. Training takes place on a Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6.30pm until 8.00pm during the season.

Volunteer at SSRFC
The club is run entirely by volunteers. The volunteers of the club do everything from picking up litter, gardening, painting & decorating, cleaning or help organise and run key social and fundraising events. To help, by volunteering at SSRFC then please click here.
