More signing news from Royal High, we welcome Elliot Rousen to our club with immediate effect as a player and as our junior convenor. Elliot joins us from Kelburne CC. Let's find out about Elliot in his own words.

I have been involved in coaching for around 8 years now. Although I have coached several sports, cricket has always been a passion of mine, particularly in the development of junior sections of clubs and communities. I have previously spent time developing and delivering cricket programmes in schools in the Renfrewshire area as well as working in schools in Stirling. I have spent time south of the border, coaching a private junior only club based in London, assisting in the running of summer camps and sessions. Recently I have been leading the coaching at Stirling University, which has been an awesome experience. A few years ago I spent time in Zambia creating and delivering a football programme for children who usually would not be able to receive coaching given their circumstances, which really drove my passion for sports development, and making sport there for all.

This new exciting role at RHC will hopefully enable myself and the other coaching team to develop a thriving junior section, with great player development opportunities, but furthermore make the sport more accessible to all children. I would love to see teams at all levels, playing good cricket, enjoying their time on the pitch and hopefully transitioning into the senior game.
