Pete has been a fixture at Rawdon CC for many years now, as he has closely followed the cricketing journey of Jonathan, Andrew and then James, Zach and Jacob.

Of course, he is also so very well known in cricketing circles throughout West Yorkshire, as he followed the whole of the Doidge cricketing clan.

A fine example of a man, whose 92 years have been so very well lived. Totally dedicated to his family, of whom he is rightly so proud. A fine legacy.

Our heartfelt condolences and our love goes to Margaret, Jonathan, Matthew, Andrew and to the whole family.

Pete will be sorely missed by everybody at RCC.

Anyone wishing to pay their respects is welcome to do so on Tuesday 9th April at 1:45pm Rawdon Crematorium, with the wake being held at Rawdon Cricket Club. The family have respectfully said no flowers but there will be the opportunity to donate to The British Heart Foundation on the day.

To recognise Pete’s passion for cricket or horse racing, his many friends of the club will be sporting a club or other sports tie, where possible.
