OVs face Farmers in a must win match if they are to keep hopes alive of regaining the Jersey Post Weekend League T20 Trophy!

The job is simple this weekend, we must win to keep our chances alive. I'm sure the players will want to bounce back from last weekend's disappointing performance and want to show what they can do.
- Corey Bisson - 1st XI Captain

The OVs will once again be without club skipper Corey Bisson on Saturday due to injury as the 1st XI face Farmers CC in a must win game at Les Quennevais (1pm start). However, the 1s will be boosted by the news that Matt Donaldson will have returned from his travels and senior players Tom Minty and Sam Dewhurst return to the starting XI which will definitely give the team some much needed experience that lacked last weekend.

It is understood that the OVs will face a slightly weakened Farmers outfit too who are rumoured to be without Island players Ferraby, Carlyon and Kynman. However, Farmers should not be underestimated given they will still have the likes of the T20 Premier League's leading run scorer in Zak Tribe who has put most bowling attacks to the sword this season, coupled with the Jersey bowling pair of Perchard and Palmer.

All in all, the outcome for the OVs 1st XI is simple, a loss will see all hopes of T20 success dead and buried, however a win against the current league leaders could be the perfect response the team needs after it's rather weak performance versus St Ouen Springfield last Saturday.

The team that lines up on Saturday is as follows, and will be captained once again by club Vice Captain James Duckett:

1. E Corbel
2. J Watling
3. J Gough
4. R Duckett
5. S Dewhurst
6. J Duckett
7. E Giles
8. M Donaldson
9. T Minty
10. R Forrest
11. B Le Gallais
