Ladies History

In August 1999, a few mates, Kate Tinsley among them, were having a kick around on Bingham Road and agreed to set up a ladies football team. Word soon spread, and aided by the fantastic coaching of ex Notts County Player, Mick Vinter, Dayncourt Ladies FC was founded and started playing in the Third Division of The East Midlands Unison Women's Football League.

Since then the First team has been promoted through the divisions, reaching many a cup final en-route and now plays in the FA WPL Midlands Division One. Kate and many other willing volunteers also began coaching sessions for girls on Saturday mornings and the club soon comprised both ladies and girls teams. Dayncourt then merged with Radcliffe Olympic and have not looked back since.
