A warm welcome to Painswick CC’s home site. I hope you find the site easy to use and informative. The club welcomes new players and supporters of all ages, please feel free to contacts us should you wish to come and join. This site is where you can pay your annual subs, match fees, buy kit, find links to fixtures and events and generally be a place for everything you need to know about Painswick CC.

Introduction
The village first put out a team at Painswick House field around 1900, before moving to the town’s recreational grounds. The turn of the millennium was celebrated by the move to our new home at Broadham Field. Painswick Cricket Club shares an excellent clubhouse with the local rugby club Painswick RFC, one of Gloucestershire’s oldest and finest local Rugby clubs. We are now fielding eleven full sides, juniors to seniors. The club is very proud to hold the ‘kite’ mark of cricket namely ClubMark and is recognised as a club to which to send aspiring player to help with their development.
Building for a strong future - playing and community
Our current playing aims include a strong focus around our youth as well as maintaining a strong and competitive level for our senior sides. We would like to wish all our sides the best for the upcoming 2018 season, especially Jack Hobbis last season's successful first team skipper.
All our teams benefit from our youth policy and last season our first team boasted 6 players, all under 25, who had progressed through our youth teams. The future looks bright and I would like to thank Dom Barnard and his coaching team for their continued hard work with our youth section.
We continue to maintained links with the village through events such as the CricketForce project and have hosted charity events. Many of our major sponsors are local businesses from the surrounding area.
We are always looking to improve our facilities and only last season we secured a new scoreboard, new covers as well as a new sightscreen. We hope to continue to enhance our ground and support our committed coaching team.
