He joined Kenilworth in 2006 where he played for 16 seasons - scoring 156 tries in his 305 league and cup appearances. He was also a key part of their RFU Intermediate Final win at Twickenham in 2019.

Speaking about returning home Gaz said, “I'm really excited to get the opportunity to return and turn out for my boyhood club, contributing to the ambitious plans that are in place under Head Coach Adam. It's a club I know well, and already have friends within the playing squad and on the side-lines. It feels a very natural decision to return and contribute to a club who gave a lot to me during my development years. I've been training with the squad for a few weeks and the talent and attitude is as impressive as recent results suggest. I look forward to competing for a place in the match day squad and deliver the results we need to move further up the table."

The first XV are away at league leaders Berkswell & Balsall this Saturday, 26th in a 2.15pm KO.
