Another busy weekend for our 10's with the ‘Pride in Unity Parade’ on Saturday at Wembley, you may have seen some OG Mini's on the big screen.

Sunday saw 10 lads visit rugby heartland' Fullerians with Chess Valley providing 2 squads making it an interesting 3 way fixture, as we've not played these guys before.

Squad:- Ben, Billy, Fred, Henry, Jake, Leo, Luke, Mateusz, Matty, Thomas S.

Match 1 v Chess Valley A’ Won 2 - 1.
Fast out the blocks Henry a strong run, presented the ball & we won the first ruck against some big lads. We really showed our intentions. A knock on & scrum down then saw advantage OG’s...Ben & Henry 'switch move' lovely handling and an offload to Jake only to be caught six inches from the try line, Thomas S operating at scrum half out to Mateusz & he went over for the try.
Ben on the charge second half but no support, turn over ball but our great defence kept us deep in Chess territory; we won a ruck, ball down the line and Ben out on the wing to score.
A consolation try to Chess’ but we held out for victory.

Match 2 v Fullerians Lost 4 - 2.

(Ref played 100 secs over time & they scored in this period.....not that I'm bitter!)
Entire squad played out of their skins, Luke driving into the heart of their defence, Fred try saving tackle, Jake finished off ‘try of the day..ball must have gone thru every pair of hands...time & again we created overlaps, some really great rugby.
Leo tackled like a 'Lion & earn’ t himself Superstar of the week, he was singled out by our oppo' coach who couldn't believe his work rate!
Heads down at the end...don't know why...they played really well...some great rugby.

Match 3 v Chess Valley B’ Won 3 - 0.

Jake firing on all cylinders a brace, lovely well balanced runner, ran both tries in from his own half! Henry added the third.....didn't let an injury get the better of him. Really pleased with these results, considering 12 lads missing this week!
