Coaches Caron and Jones were over the moon with the Slam 2017 the 3rd year of the competition is set up in a festival style event with developmemt games and show peace games for the local commumity to see.

The event saw the crusaders show off both development players and senior players for the crusaders cup and the Viper cup 2017.

The crusaders came in 2nd in the crusaders league cup and won the Slam cup taking on the league leaders winners Leyland warriors in a great end to end game all live on facebook thanks to the rugby league shows.
