NEW CROSS END WESSEX WINNING STREAK! 43-5

Wessex fell to their first defeat of the season as New Cross cemented their own promotion ambitions.

It was clash of the division’s two form sides and it was the visitors who left with their own winning record still intact.

Wessex gave away eight penalties in the opening 20 minutes as they struggles to get into the game.

New Cross on the other hand had no such issues as, spurred on by man of the match LUKE WILLIAMS, they ran in six tries on one of the club’s more successful afternoons.

LOUIE GRIFFITHS crossed twice and was joined on the score sheet by ALFIE LANG, ALI WELLBY and TORRIN STONE for the visitors.
