Millom 1st away to Windermere at the weekend. Both teams normally raise their games when the fixtures come around and this season should be no different. Millom made a big step forward in the right directions against Carlisle last week and the coach Gordon Park will be looking for a steady improvement this week. The return of Craig Mounsey will only make it more difficult for Windermere to create any space or opportunity in the backs and Kieron Coulson is back to bolster the pack and add strength up-front.

The front row are missing Captain Ian Cummings but Kieron Rogan will step forward and make the front three stronger in the scrum and set play. Young Joseph Tomlinson is coming into his own and starting to put in some big performances which culminated in him scoring his first open age try last week and this can only give the young 2nd row more confidence.
The backs look threating again with Robbie Pattinson and Chris Park looking to dictate play as the half backs. The centre combination of Trevor Dixon and Ryan Carter (Captain) is an intimidating presence with nothing but speed outside them from Jordon Moyes, Craig Mounsey and John Falconer who will finish any chances they create. Millom will be looking at getting their first away game of the season off to a winning start and spoil the party for the home side.

Millom second XV field a young and competitive team at home this week (kick-off 14:30) against what will no doubt be a very strong Moresby outfit, on their last outing this young side showed commitment and experience above their years going narrowly down to a strong Keswick outfit, they will no doubt want to make their own mark to allow them to be recognised by the coaching team pushing for first team places in the coming weeks.
