Introduction

Mossley Hill RUFC are based in a suburb of south Liverpool.

Originally founded in 1986, Mossley Hill regularly field three teams, with the first and second XV both competing in league competitions.

Despite the club's Latin motto of 'Id nos vinixisemus' (roughly translated as 'we should have won that one') the 1st XV were promoted to South Lancs/Cheshire 3 in 2005, conceding only 99 points.

Founder member John Parr commented, "The club's success over the past 20 odd years is due to its members, sponsors and supporters and is a tribute to their hard work."
