Over the last couple of weeks the minis have focussed very much on passing and getting the ball moving around the park. "Hands UP!" "Hands UP!" and "Where are your HANDS?!!" have become the persistent cry of the coaching team! (That and "SHOUT for the ball!!! - No don't whisper - SHOUT!!")

Based on the success and lessons learned form the Carnoustie and Arbroath fixture on Sunday 2nd September, this week the focus was very much on keeping the line and making sure that team players were always behind their own ball carrier. Forward passing still seems to be something that haunts the minis - although by the time the session had finished - there was a definite improvement. So much so that there was also a little bit of time to revise the strategy of tackling...

This season's minis are a lot of fun and if they can all remember what we have been working on - the Brechin game should be one to watch......
