In a game played in a friendly atmosphere Chelmarsh visited with only 9 players who gave their all despite the numerical disadvantage.

Batting first they posted a very respectable 164 in their 40 overs. This was never likely to be enough on a very good Milford pitch and that proved to be the case ad Milford knocked off the score for the loss of 3 wickets in less than 25 overs.
