1. Club Development

As part of Maghull FC's community vision and development plan for the future.

Maghull Football Club aims to become the local community club for sport in particular football over the next few years, with the start of the Maghull Football Club Development Centre (MFCDC).

Our aim is to develop football for males and females at every level, in addition to our current adult and under 18's teams we want to add the following, under 7's, under 8's, under 9's, under 10's, under 11's, under 12's, under 13's, under 14's, under 15's, under 16's and under 17's sides. As part of our aims for mass participation we will also be working with children and adults with disabilities. Therefore if you can assist with any of those categories we would love to hear from you.

We want to strive and offer to give the best chance for local people to be involved in sport, having researched the Dutch development program for football, we have decided that this is the structure that we wish to pursue, over the coming months from the autumn of 2010, action plans will be put into place for our club to be a satellite club for development.

We want to focus particularly on the development of players under the ages of 20. Our centre will be key to the development of football and footballers in Merseyside but in particular Maghull and its surrounding areas, we will be responsible for developing up and coming young people and potentially feeding them into the local High Performance Centre's (HPCs) such as Liverpool FC, Everton FC, Tranmere Rovers FC and Southport FC.

One of our priority aims is to get involved with every primary and secondary school in the local area and to give people the chance to play for their home town club and above all we want people to be proud of it.

For our efforts to succeed, we will be working closely with local and national funding schemes such as the football foundation. We will also work closely with the local council and councilors in a bid to achieve our aims.
