"I hope that Leyton can continue playing, the club is not dead and there has been interest from managers to take the club on. Obviously the problem is finance which cannot be avoided, but despite all of this I would like to thank those who have supported the club and who continue to do so.

As for my position at the club I am still connected and intend to be until the very end. Leyton is an important part of my life, as it is to many, and I want to underline, highlight and make it absolutely clear that whatever I can do to help the club I will do."
