Lewisham will travel to Bayliss Avenue for their first league match of the season on Wednesday 8th August 2018. Lewisham have had some well documented problems earlier in the season but as they say what is life without a few challenges. It was a minor hiccup and they are firmly back on track. The last couple of training sessions especially have been very intense with clear competition for places - this has presented some difficulties as a number players have picked up injuries. The treatment room is pretty full at the moment. A light session will take place on Monday 6th August.

Welling Town have been touted as the early favourites in the division - they had an impressive win in the opening weekend against Rochester after being 2-0 down - once again danger man Ryan Golding secured a hat trick as Welling romped to a 6-3 victory. Lewisham and Ryan Golding have a lot of history

Confidence will be high with the new boys to the league. Lewisham Manager Justin Fevrier is excited at the challenge ahead for the season especially the opening fixture. The manager sent several scouts to Rochester on Saturday and will await reports.
