Speaking Up

The Kings Cross Steelers is an inclusive club where Rugby players and supported of all back grounds are welcome.

The club was founded in 1995 to provide a safe space for adult gay and bisexual men to play senior rugby in the RFU leagues.

Over our almost 30 years of history we have remained a safe space for all members of the LGBT+ community but also those who are not from the community but support our aims.

The Kings Cross Steelers take our commitment to inclusion seriously and want all participants in club activity to feel safe in our spaces. To ensure we continue to do this we encourage all club members (and members of the public) to speak up when the club or one of our members falls short of our aims.

To make this easy the club has a "Speaking Up" form that can be completed to report any issues. This form can be found here

Club officers should complete a different form which can be found here

The clubs speaking up policy can be found in the document section of the club website along with the "Speaking Up Protocol" which is a one page summary of the policy.
