Wisbech are the visitors in the Buildbase FA Trophy preliminary round on Non-League Day.

After being narrowly defeated by Gateshead in the FA Cup, a victory would be the perfect way to kickstart another cup run.

To celebrate Non-League day, all Grove fans attending will be given a ‘£2 off’ discount for the next home league game against Frickley Athletic.

Visitors Wisbech Town sit just above the Grove in the league, however the Fenman have played 3 games more.

The side managed by Seb Hayes knocked out Kempston Rovers in the previous round thanks to a single goal from Layton Maddison.

Speaking after the Gateshead defeat, gaffer Ryan Austin was optimistic that the Grove will be in the Buildbase FA Trophy for the long run.

“We’ve been on a good run so it’s important we bounce back. We’ll train this week and get this result out of our system. It’s important we approach the FA Trophy in the right manner as it’s a cup we can genuinely do well in.

The Gaffer also highlighted the fantastic support on Saturday and hopes the crowd remains for the Non-League Day tie.

“I’ve spoke to a few supporters after the game and they were impressed in the way we played. Hopefully they’ll be back next week and they’ll see us on the end of a positive result.

The two sides last faced off in the Buildbase FA Trophy last year, with the Grove coming out 2-1 winners.

If you’re at a loose end of where to go this weekend, whether for the International break or your team are away from home, come down to the Autonet Stadium to celebrate Non-League Day with us and a genuine, friendly atmosphere.

We run an offer of a Pint, Fry-up and Admission to the game for just £10 (£8 for concessions).

Otherwise, it is £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and £1 for 12-16.

We hope to see as many people down at 3pm for Non-League day and a Kidsgrove win.

Come on the Grove!
