Tag Rugby U5 to U8

TAG RUGBY is a safe, fun and exciting form of non-contact rugby that can be enjoyed by boys and girls of all abilities. There are no scrums, lineouts or tackling so the game can be played and enjoyed by both beginners and experienced players alike. Children can start aged 4 - 6 (reception year) in our U6 group and play tag till U8. The majority of our tag players go on to play mini-contact at U9. From U7s upwards, in addition to training, there are regular competitive matches against other clubs and Tag festivals.

We offer children a fun introduction to rugby in a safe environment with sessions run by RFU qualified coaches who have been CRB checked. We focus on enjoyable sessions that consist of games (not just rugby but things like bulldog and stuck in the mud); training exercises to learn the game of rugby and develop skills; and fitness work including things such as races.
