Membership Information 2019

Ipplepen Cricket Club offers membership opportunities to meet a wide range of interests across all sections of the community. Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December each year and full information on how to apply for or renew membership will be published at the start of each year.

For 2019 season, the club Membership Secretary is Dawn Green and all enquiries or applications for membership should be directed towards her.

Membership is arranged into the following categories

SENIOR PLAYING MEMBER £80

For those aged 18+, this offers involvement in the senior (mens and womens) cricket programmes with potential to be selected for various senior teams on Saturdays, Sundays and midweek evenings plus access to indoor pre-season training and weekly outdoor training from late April until early September.

The senior playing membership fee may be reduced at the committee's discretion for those players on a reduced income or those who may have access to a limited number of fixtures.

JUNIOR PLAYING MEMBER £50

For those aged 7 to 17, this offers involvement in the junior cricket programme for boys and girls of all ability. Junior membership includes weekly outdoor training from late April until early September plus potential involvement in junior hardball or softball age group teams as appropriate.

Where two or more siblings join Ipplepen Cricket Club for the same season, only the eldest child pays £50 and all other children within this age group pay £40 per child.

Parents of junior playing members are also automatically enrolled as Social Members of the club.

NON PLAYING MEMBER £20

If you would like to be involved in the life of Ipplepen Cricket Club in some way other than as a player then you can join the club as a non-paying member. Non-playing members may include umpires and scorers as well as those interested in behind the scenes roles or in being part of the committee (non-paying members are able to stand for the committee and vote at the AGM).

SOCIAL MEMBER £10

Social members are allowed to use the club facilities and attend social events at the club. However, social members are not able to stand for the committee or to vote at the AGM.
