Hayle come back from 2-nil down to take all 3 points.

Hayle expected to take all 3 points against second from bottom Helston but the away team turned up with other ideas.

Helston started the brighter of the two sides with plenty of early pressure on Hayle and an early goal came after just 6 minutes.

Hayle came straight back into the game and turned up the pressure on the away team with plenty of possession in and around Helston's 18 yard area only for them to break down the left and have a shot go in off the outstretched leg of Hayle defender Mathew Coram.

Hayle upped the pressure again and were finally rewarded for their hard work with a penalty on 18 minutes which Billy Foster slotted home.

Billy was also involved with the second goal 4 minutes later. After some good work down the right hand side he supplied Matt Thomas who's shot went flying in from the edge of the box.

The second half started well for Hayle as they were awarded a corner in the first minute which was put narrowly over the bar by the head of Danny Richards. Moments later a smart save from Hayle's Jamie Cotterill kept Hayle in the match.

Hayle almost got another goal as a back pass was intercepted by Billy Foster only to be saved by the outstretched leg of Helston's young keeper.

The game was end to end for some time with Helston putting the ball narrowly over the bar and Hayle's George Holman making a solo run and shot from the left which was well saved but Hayle's hard work was rewarded again after 70 minutes with another penalty which, again was hit home by Billy.

The home side thought they had the game in the bag but 5 minutes later Helston also won a penalty. After a short break to the injured Hayle keeper the penalty was taken and luckily put over the bar.

Thankfully Hayle's young keeper wasn't badly injured as he was called into action again with 2 more smart saves to make sure the home team kept all 3 points.
